Deyaar is one of Dubai's established listed property developers — majority-owned by Dubai Islamic Bank and traded on the Dubai Financial Market.

Founded in 2002, Deyaar has built a broad portfolio of residential towers, commercial properties, and hospitality developments across Dubai — from Business Bay and DIFC to Al Furjan and Dubai Silicon Oasis. With a focus on quality-driven, design-led delivery, the company operates across the full development lifecycle: land acquisition, master planning, construction, and facilities management. A growing international reputation and sustained demand from both end-users and investors made a compelling, modern digital presence essential to communicating the scale and ambition of the brand.

Design lead for the digital direction — responsible for translating Deyaar's brand and portfolio into a compelling, modern web experience concept.

01
Information Architecture
Structured the site concept around Deyaar's portfolio breadth — residential, commercial, hospitality — with clear hierarchy for property discovery and brand storytelling.
02
UI & Visual Design
Defined the visual language — typography, colour, grid, and imagery treatment — to position Deyaar as a quality-led developer with a confident, contemporary digital presence.
03
Brand Application
Applied Deyaar's brand identity across digital surfaces — ensuring consistency between the developer's established positioning and the new design direction.
04
Responsive Design
Designed across mobile, tablet, and desktop to demonstrate how the direction would perform across the full range of devices used by Deyaar's property-seeking audience.

The challenge

Deyaar is one of Dubai's established listed developers with a broad residential, commercial, and hospitality portfolio — but its digital presence didn't communicate the quality and ambition of its projects. Internal stakeholders needed to see a credible, modern direction before committing to a full build.

The goal was to establish a design direction that could align stakeholders around a shared vision — setting the tone, hierarchy, and brand positioning before any development investment was made.

My approach

I led the design direction from brand audit through to high-fidelity UI concepts — exploring how Deyaar's portfolio of residential towers, commercial assets, and hospitality developments could be structured and presented across a modern, responsive web experience.

The work focused on establishing layout, visual hierarchy, and tone: giving stakeholders a concrete, compelling vision they could rally behind.

A Discover → Define → Design → Deliver process — moving from brand and sector research through to high-fidelity concepts that aligned stakeholders around a direction.

Discover
Brand & sector research
Audited Deyaar's existing digital presence and benchmarked against leading regional and international property developers — identifying gaps in visual quality, content hierarchy, and brand positioning that the new direction needed to address.
Define
Site structure & content strategy
Mapped the information architecture around Deyaar's portfolio categories — residential, commercial, hospitality — and defined how brand storytelling, development detail, and investor content would be structured and prioritised across the experience.
Design
Visual language & UI concepts
Developed high-fidelity UI concepts establishing typography, colour, grid, and imagery treatment — creating a confident, design-led visual language that elevated Deyaar's positioning while remaining grounded in the brand's existing identity.
Deliver
Design direction & handoff
Presented the direction to internal stakeholders — providing the visual concepts, design rationale, and responsive explorations needed to align decision-makers and give the development team a clear foundation to build from.

A complete digital design direction — from homepage and brand positioning through to portfolio hubs and a responsive design system.

Homepage & brand positioning
Designed the hero and homepage concept to lead with Deyaar's development quality and Dubai credentials — establishing a confident first impression for investors, buyers, and brand stakeholders.
Property portfolio hub
Structured the portfolio experience across residential, commercial, and hospitality categories — with a filterable, image-led layout that lets buyers and investors navigate Deyaar's developments with clarity.
Development detail pages
Designed individual development pages to showcase each project at its best — rich imagery, floorplan presentation, location context, and clear calls to action for enquiries and reservations.
Responsive design system
Defined the responsive design system — typography scales, spacing, component patterns, and breakpoint behaviour — ensuring the direction would translate consistently from desktop to mobile.
