Case Study
Web design direction for Msheireb Downtown Doha — shaping a visual language that bridges Qatar's cultural heritage with the ambition of one of the region's most significant contemporary urban developments.
Msheireb Downtown Doha is one of the most ambitious urban regeneration projects in the Gulf — a 31-hectare mixed-use development in the heart of Doha designed to revive Qatar's cultural identity.
Developed by Msheireb Properties (a subsidiary of Qatar Foundation), the district blends contemporary architecture with Arabic-influenced design — featuring gleaming white mosques, heritage museums housed in restored mansions, and sustainable buildings that reference Qatari craft and tradition. The project required a digital presence that could convey the depth and distinctiveness of the development to a global audience.
Msheireb needed a visual direction that captured the ambition of a contemporary, heritage-rooted downtown district.
Msheireb Downtown Doha is a developing district blending contemporary architecture, gleaming white mosques, and history museums housed in elegant Arabic-style mansions.
The challenge was creating a visual direction that conveyed both the modernity and the cultural heritage at the heart of the development.
I developed design concepts that paired clean, contemporary layouts with imagery celebrating the district's architecture and heritage — establishing a visual direction that felt both modern and rooted in place.

Created concept layouts and high-fidelity UI designs — presenting the development's districts, heritage story, and residential and commercial spaces in a premium web format.
Delivered a coherent design direction across key page templates — providing a visual foundation for the development's digital presence that could scale across the full site.
An editorial homepage presenting the scale and vision of Msheireb — hero imagery of the architecture, district highlights, and a strong brand narrative communicating heritage and modernity.
Concept pages for the district's history museums and cultural spaces — using considered typography and imagery to bring Qatari heritage narratives to life in a contemporary digital format.
Property and commercial space pages that balanced premium lifestyle positioning with practical information — designed for an audience of prospective residents, businesses, and investors.
A consistent visual design language applied across page templates — adaptable to desktop and mobile, ensuring the premium feel translated across all screen sizes and contexts.
