Opened in 2014 and named after Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the stadium is one of the UAE's most distinctive football venues — home to Al Ain FC in the Arabian Gulf League.

With a capacity of 22,717, the stadium sits in Al Ain — Abu Dhabi's garden city and a UNESCO World Heritage site — and hosts UAE Pro League matches, cup fixtures, and international events. Al Ain FC is one of the most decorated clubs in the region, with multiple domestic titles and AFC Champions League appearances, bringing a highly engaged, passionate fanbase to every fixture. The stadium needed a digital presence that matched its reputation: fan-first, immersive, and built to serve supporters across web and mobile with everything from matchday information to ticketing and venue content.

Led the digital design — from UX architecture and fan journey mapping through to immersive UI, responsive layouts, and brand application.

The challenge

Opened in 2014, Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium is a 22,717-capacity multi-purpose venue in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi — home of Al Ain FC in the UAE Pro League.

Its digital presence needed to capture the energy of the stadium and serve fans with fixtures, events, and venue information that worked seamlessly on any device.

My approach

I led the digital transformation with a fully responsive experience — putting fan engagement first and structuring matchday, events, and venue content into clear, immersive journeys.

Bold, imagery-led UI brought the stadium to life, with a UX designed to make finding fixtures, tickets, and information effortless across devices.
