Majid Al Futtaim holds the exclusive franchise rights to Carrefour in the region, positioning it as a leader in both in-store and digital retail innovation. The company has invested heavily in eCommerce platforms, loyalty programs, and omnichannel experiences, aiming to deliver greater convenience, transparency, and value for its diverse customer base.

Project summary

The project focused on elevating Carrefour’s online shopping experience by addressing several core goals. We worked to improve website usability, making it easier for customers to find and purchase products through a more logical and friction-free journey. Key priorities included showcasing featured products, promotions, and giveaways in a clear and manageable format, highlighting Carrefour’s wide brand portfolio, and enhancing the customer account area. Alongside these improvements, we ensured the digital experience reflected Carrefour’s values and commitment to quality, strengthening both user confidence and trust in the brand online.

Homepage views designed

I contributed to redesigning the Carrefour Majid Al Futtaim homepage with a focus on improving usability, navigation, and product discoverability. The updated designs prioritised a cleaner layout that made it easier for customers to find promotions, explore featured products, and access key categories. Promotional banners and product carousels were restructured for clarity and impact, while the overall visual hierarchy was refined to highlight value-driven messaging and brand trust. These changes helped create a more intuitive, engaging, and conversion-focused entry point for Carrefour’s online experience.

Carrefour MyClub

I created a series of visuals to support Carrefour’s MyClub loyalty programme, focusing on highlighting member benefits, rewards, and exclusive promotions. The designs were aimed at increasing customer engagement with the programme by presenting offers in a clear, accessible, and appealing way across digital channels. Visual hierarchy, typography, and colour were used strategically to emphasise savings and incentives while maintaining alignment with Carrefour’s wider brand guidelines.
